“So you want to be a bride when you grow up”.
Since you were a child you’ve been dreaming of your white wedding dress. But as soon as he hears about flowers, church and invitations, along comes his allergy. You try to understand it all and sometimes it leaves you with a great big headache. It seems like a tug of war, in front of family he seems to like the idea but when you try to research a little further when it’s just the two of you he pulls you back down into the mud!
You can’t drag him to the alter, could it be that he’s just not Mr Right.
Maybe we can help you make this great discovery:
Is he too young or too old? All the blame cannot be left at the woman’s door. Every man is different and each one has a different past behind him, but research shows that men who have graduated don’t feel ready for marriage until at least 26 years. Yes it sounds good but then they start to loose interest around the 34 years, only to lead to a drastic landslide at 37 years. Those men who reach the age of 44 years and are not married and have never been married? It’s plain to see that if they couldn’t make their mind up in the past 28 years, there’s little hope of them being able to do it now. Their excuse will be, “I don’t need to be married, why do we need to be married, things are just fine the way they are”.
He’s already tried the “live in lovers”? If he’s already divied his home with another woman then he’s not likely to be caught out again. It’s not all lost though, you just need to be very clear and strong at the beginning of the relationship. If you’re determined to be married at all costs you need to look for a fresh young guy, a man who hasn’t lived much!
You’re already his, so you don’t need the ring! You’re missing the ring but he has everything that he needs? Well that good old english proverb does say ” Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?”.
Excuses, excuses. Let’s face it girls, we’ve heard them all. We go out of our way to make them happy, but a wedding can make hundreds of people happy, including the groom!
You need to tell him to be a man and listen up, Beyonce has already spoken: “If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it”.
Girls can you wait another 4 years for the 29th February to come round again? If he still refuses some traditions say he’s obligated to give you money or buy you a dress, in high-society he must buy you 12 pairs of gloves so she can hide the embarrassment of not having a ring on her finger. Well what about that!
